THE Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has partnered with the local government of Baguio City to provide assistance to the city’s woodworking and dairy industries.

Under the MOA, the DOST will provide some P1.2 million worth of assistance to the woodcarving industry in Baguio City, intended to develop sustainable livelihood and be used in the conduct of training on industry trends and product development.

Bantog and Magalong also signed a second MOA with the Mountain High Dairy Cooperative (MHDC), a cooperative of dairy producers in the city.

Under the second MOA, the DOST will provide some P375,700 for the improvement of the current production chain of the MHDC, which is located in Dontogan, Baguio City.
