GINGINED

31 years after the July 16 killer earthquake the Shrine of the Brown Madonna is the site of today's tribute to the victims of the disaster and the honoring of modern day heroes, our frontliners during this pandemic. The shrine is housed in a mountain cave located in Tadiangan, Tuba, Benguet and is visited for its solemn ambiance. Fritzgerald Padilla, son of the late former councilor Narciso Padilla led the tribute to the 1990 killer earthquake heroes and today’s front liners against the Covid-19 pandemic. STAR FOTO BY ANDY G.
