Folayang, a former world champion, was the long-time face of Filipino mixed martial arts representing the banner of the Team Lakay training center, located in the Cordillera which is being run and operated by the international and sensational coach and former MMA champion himself Mark “The Machine” Sangiao.
Recently, longtime undisputed Brave champion Stephen “the sniper” Loman and Jahnlo, the son of the legendary coach Sangiao signed with the One fighting championship family.
Yet another superstar in the making has made a noise in the One bantamweight division. Coming from the Benguet-based Team Lakay fighting championships, Jeremy “the juggernaut” Pacatiw had a wish granted as it was confirmed that he is now part of Asia’s premier martial arts promotion.
Pacatiw, 25, with a 10-4 record and a licensed criminologist, is projected to be one of the next big things in the Filipino MMA as he is a ferocious, crafty, and an ultimate finisher in the cage.
In his last fight, he was able to finish the Brazilian phenom Jay Silva with a barrage of vicious punches to end the fight.
