Claim: VP Leni Rodredo, while a congresswoman, had not approved or passed any bills
Rating: FALSE
In an SMNI interview posted as a TikTok video circulating online, a “Political Analyst” claims that VP Leni Robredo has not authored, co-authored, or sponsored any bills or laws and has not done anything substantial since she sat in office.

This is false.
The Facts: VP Robredo has filed over 110 Bills to date, some of which are the:
– Philippine National Railways Chater Extension (RA 10638)
– Sangguinan Kabataan Reforn Act of 2015 (RA 10742)
– Tax Incentive Management and Transparency Act (RA10708)
– Open High School System Act (RA10665)
– Graphic Health Warnings Law (RA10643)
– Decriminalizing Premature Marriage (RA 10655)
– Strengthening the Probation System (RA10707)
– Election Service Reform Act (RA 10756)
– Full Disclosure Policy Bill (HB 19)
– Open Door Policy Act (HB 6286)
– The People Empowerment Bill (HB4911)
– The Comprehensive Anti-Discrimination Bill (HB 3432)
– The Anti-Dynasty Bill

Why did we fact-check this: It is quite alarming for a news site to publish accusations and biases against one candidate solely to claim that one candidate is more rational without any credible research or source to back their claim.
