MAMERTO TINDONGAN is a woodcarver and shaman from a long line of mumbakis in Ifugao. who also trained as a shaman under an American Indian mentor. He is an Aeronautics Engineer with two MAs from the University of Ohio but is an artist at heart. He has a cultural and healing center both in Santa Fe, Mexico called the Bulalayaw (Rainbow) Bridge Wellness Center and in Ifugao where a structural model for living off the grid can be seen.
