New officers of Baguio SK federation revealed

A NEW set of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation officials have been elected after this week’s elections for the posts.

Thesis was conducted by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Baguio under City Director Millicent Cariño, in coordination with the Commission on Elections Baguio under Election Officer John Paul Martin.

John Rey Mananeng of West Quirino Hill barangay emerged as the new Baguio City Sangguniang Kabataan Federation president after beating three other contenders in the elections conducted this week, defeating other candidates Sherricon Bagto, Paul Sedano and Kurt Kapawen.

Gian Franscine Lampaz of Fairview Village was voted as vice president after defeating Shireh Joshua Dumaniw and Rayah Jahziel Tayag while Gail Mae Egsaen of Guisad Central was elected secretary over Vivian Cabacungan and Ezrah Ananayo.

Filling the other posts are John Leo Marrero of East Quirino Hill as treasurer, Elias Pitok of Apugan-Loakan as auditor, Daztyn Atiwag of Pinsao Pilot Project as sergeant-at-arms and Jasper Bidos of Liwanag-Loakan, as public relations officer.

The new officials took their oath of office after the proclamation and the ceremonial turn-over of responsibilities with outgoing SK Federation president, Levy Lloyd Orcales.
