THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has partnered with the office of Baguio Representative Mark Go to provide free training for residents of the city.

The Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) would provide training for Baguio residents in three batches from June to September, covering free tuition, assessment fees, training allowance, accident insurance, internet allowance, and PPE allowance.

Available to Baguio residents 18 years of age and above, and with at least a high school education, the TWSP makes available some 23 courses to nearly 1,500 open slots for interested applicants to claim.

The courses are all vocational training provided by various colleges and institutes including local establishments such as Baguio City School of Arts and Trades and the Baguio College of Technology, as well as larger establishments such as the Philippine Institute of Culinary Arts Inc.

Interested applicants may register for the programs through the office of Congressman Go at the city hall from May 21 to 28 on weekdays.

To apply, one must provide a completed registration form, available through Go’s official Facebook page, a 1×1 picture, a barangay certificate of residency, and a photocopy of any one valid government-issued ID card.
